عن المسلسل

يصف المخرج العمل بأنه "قصة بسيطة وشعبية تهدف إلى الترفيه وتقديم الكوميديا الهادفة من خلال سائق تاكسي والقصص المختلفة التي تصادفه خلال عمله، ويطرح مواقف كوميدية من الواقع بعيداً عن التهريج والابتذال".
والمسلسل مؤلف من 30 حلقة متصلة، ويدور حول سائق التاكسي الطريف (أبو جانتي) والمشاكل والمواقف الكوميدية التي يتعرض لها في الشارع ومع الناس، ويتناول المفارقات التي يتعرض لها (أبو جانتي) خلال عمله، وحكايا الناس في الشارع والمجتمع من خلال علاقته العابرة معهم، ويسلط الضوء من خلال الشخصيات التي تركب التاكسي على أوضاع المجتمع وهموم النساء والرجال والفقراء والأغنياء والرياضيين والحرفيين والعاطلين عن العمل والفقراء والأغنياء وغير ذلك، بما في ذلك بعض المسؤولين والأجانب والعسكريين والسائحين العرب
